With the first full week of the second half of the MLB season in the books, players turned their game and their footwear up a notch. Pittsburgh third baseman Pedro Alvarez decided to dig deep into his closet, wearing the Air Jordan 4 White/Tour Yellow during warm-ups on Friday. Alvarez’s teammate Russell Martin continued his streak of bringing hardwood cleats to the field as he once again wore his cleated version of the Nike Kobe 8. Also, Atlanta shortstop Andrelton Simmons gave us a good look at the new Nike Air Huarache Pro Low. Check out the images below as well as well as a full rundown of cleats worn on the diamond last week in the latest edition of Base Kicks.
