Tomorrow, PENSOLE Footwear Design Academy‘s World Sneaker Championship begins in Portland, and the final class roster has been revealed. Including 30 students from 16 different countries, this year’s WSC will feature PENSOLE‘s largest class to date. The World Sneaker Championship runs from July 21st to August 22nd, and this four-week master class will consist of courses covering footwear design, color/material/finishes and 3D modeling. Winners in these three categories – CMF, footwear and 3D – will have the opportunity to submit their projects to global brands and potentially have their designs sold at retail. Companies involved in the WSC this year include Nike, Jordan Brand, Under Armour, adidas, Android Homme, PONY and UNDFTD.
