TEAM JORDAN

Roster: Elizabeth Steenwyk, Maher Jemili, Guy Perez and Tuan Nguyen (CMF)

Our concepts are becoming more than just sketches on sheets of paper as students begin tape-ups and finalize materials selections.

Tape-ups, for those who don’t know, are done on a last and are used to visualize and understand how the design that was sketched actually looks and functions in 3D. I haven’t done one before, but I plan to do several before the end of the week! (I say that, but I have to remind myself that there is only 24 hours in a day…)

Now that we have a final design direction, we tapped into Suzette and Tuan’s knowledge during our team colors and materials meeting today. What would have taken me days to research and decide on was as simple as describing my concept, and what it does, to Suzette and listening for two minutes!
