TEAM TARGET

Roster: Guilherme Lemes, Jesus Garate, Jared Fiorovich and Shaun Kosoy (CMF)

Today I was able to choose my design’s final direction. I’m aiming to produce a shoe inspired by origami. It should be capable of transforming from a high top to a low top and it can also display different surface combinations.

This shoe is also designed to be personalized, the consumer would be able to paint or draw on the shoe’s surface as they please. Now that I have a direction, I have to work on the shoe’s details. I’m hoping to finalize my design by this coming Sunday.

After a long day at studio, I went to see an art gallery with some of my studio classmates. We saw some interesting art pieces there. I enjoyed the fact that most of the art pieces were inspired by the hip-hop culture. It was fun to see so many people enjoying the gallery. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay for too long because I had to go back to work.

These are the low fidelity models I used to explain my concepts. They might be simple, but they help when you are trying to show movement on your designs. This is my wall, it shows my progress form the beginning of the program until today. These are some of my classmates at the art gallery.
