TEAM UNDER ARMOUR
Roster: Satoshi Sutoh, Jonathan Guisbert, Ako Xiang, and Set Peterson (CMF)
Today we started to sketch out a few concepts for our designs, informed by our design briefs. I had a few conversations with my CMF (colors, materials, and finishes) designer about some of my ideas and we had a good discussion about the direction I want to take Under Armour basketball. The best part of the day was finally putting pen to paper and getting some ideas down after all our research. Still lots of work to do, but I think I’m off to a good start.
Starting to investigate some silhouettes here. Really quick, loose sketches to try and figure out a simple, iconic design language. Still some work to be done, but I started to highlight a few concepts I thought could be worth investigating further. Over the weekend, getting to know a few of the other designers in the program. We decided to go see the sights a bit in downtown Portland. Had a great time seeing the Pacific NW culture, and we even passed by 52 Limited, one of the talent agencies that came to visit us last week!Read the rest of the PENSOLE Diaries here.
