In a new interview with W Magazine, Pharrell talks briefly about his collaboration with adidas, which he reveals will be called adidas = Pharrell Williams. As one of the newest members of the adidas Originals roster, Pharrell’s impending work with the Three Stripes has fans of sneakers and fashion eagerly awaiting a look at what is in store from the two titans. For Pharrell’s full quote from the piece, see below:

“I have a new clothing collaboration with Adidas,” he continued. “And it’s called Adidas = Pharrell Williams. I know I can’t trademark the equal sign, and that’s fine with me because, you know what? It’s just…equal. The ‘Happy’ video is about equality; my music is about equality, and being associated with the idea of equal got me where I am now.”
