Largely famed for his The Great Wave of Kanazawa work of art, world-renowned Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai has inspired this upcoming collaborative release from Pink Dolphin and Brooks Heritage that’s about as wavy as it gets.
Outfitting the Brooks Regent silhouette, the shoe carefully incorporates a tropical theme through timely beach shades executed in nubuck, leather and raw canvas materials. To finish, and undoubtedly the shoe’s most defining characteristic, the heel denotes an embroidered wave illustration to drive home its artistic influence.
Look for the Pink Dolphin x Brooks Regent “Great Wave” on November 25 exclusively at Pink Dolphin for $140. A global release will follow at select Brooks retailers on December 3.
