The Air Jordan line is synonymous with being the pinnacle of performance basketball, and Boston Celtics All-Star and Jordan Brand athlete broke out the Air Jordan 36 in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.
After Dallas Wings forward and Jordan Brand athlete Satou Sabally gave a sneak peek of the Air Jordan 36 on her social media channels on Monday, the newest iteration of the Air Jordan line is dressed in a magenta knit and what looks to be a black Durabuck upper near the tongue and collar. The standout feature looks to be the 3rd generation of the Eclipse Plate, which is utilized to give stability and give the most efficient energy return on the Zoom Air units while cutting down weight. Fuse overlays are used on high wear areas near the toe and a tag near the ankle resembling an infinity sign. There are nods to the Jordan VI, with a similar stretch loop pocket on the tongue of the Jordan 36 and an updated take on the heel pulltab.
There’s no release date or price for the Air Jordan 36 but is expected to release sometime in Fall 2021. For up-to-date info and release dates on Jordans, check out our Jordan Release Dates page.
