An iconic Air Force 1 is back as the PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1 Low is rumored for 2025, sources tell Nice Kicks.

The collaboration between Sony’s PlayStation and Nike’s Air Force 1 further cemented the Air Force 1’s status in sneaker culture, especially in the early 2000s with a handful of colorways & collaborations.

The lore of the PS x Nike AF1 Low is transcendental across gaming culture and sneakers. The sneaker debuted in 2006 as a friends & family exclusive for the NBA’s “The Life” video game. With only 150 pairs in existence, each sneaker is numbered with a special tag on the inside.

Aside from its rarity, the PS x Nike AF1 Low was favored by many due to its gradient design, OG PS logo on the heel counter, purple lace, baby blue outsole, and eye-catching glossy patent leather upper.

In 2018, Nike and Sony teamed up for a retail pair but left fans yearning for the ’06 version. The two worked together with Paul George’s Nike PG line, releasing several collaborative colorways.

Gaming fans and AF1 aficionados will finally get a chance to own the once-elusive PS x Nike AF1 Low. However, as of now, it’s unknown if the 2025 pair will retain its patent leather design or if it will be like the all-leather sample version that was scrapped.

The PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1 Low is rumored to return in 2025 via SNKRS and select retailers.
