PORTER & Converse Drop a “SMOKY” Chuck Taylor

Converse has collaborated with a slew of the industry’s biggest labels. For the current season, the footwear giant has tapped renowned Japan’s PORTER, a label known for its high-quality bags and accessories.

Utilizing its classic Chuck Taylor silhouette, the PORTER x Converse Chuck Taylor “SMOKY” celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Japanese luggage company’s “SMOKY” series and sports the same design language as the label’s line of the same name. The pair boasts a chocolate brown CORDURA®? Duck fabric construction with exposed stitching in white seen throughout. Signature Converse branding arrives on the medial walls and soles. Rounding out the final design cues is a pop of PORTER’s orange hue on the insoles, a PORTER Tokyo tag on the rear of the shoe, as well as more branding on the insole.
