Pound 4 Pound Shoes, also known as P4P, recently closed down in August in its three locations: Phoenix, Dallas, and Los Angeles.
After a barrage of accusations ranging from owing customers hundred, even thousands of dollars to never even delivering the shoes that these customers paid for, the company decided to close down.
Investigations point towards a scam that involved all three branches of P4P in this scandal. Fox 10, out of Phoenix, Arizona, reported that dozens of Valley residents are still owed money, some of which didn’t even know the store closed in August.
While it’s not uncommon that consignment shops close, it’s disheartening to hear that scandals involving the loss of money to innocent individuals was at the heart of it all. It’s incidents like these that cause ripples among sellers and buyers, especially in this case where it was multiple shops.
If you or anyone you know was a victim of these malevolent schemes or has more information on P4P, let us know in the comments below so we can share your story.
