Although we have not seen many Fila sneakers lately, expect for them to make a strong comeback in 2009. Recently, we received news of them signing rap star Nas to a contract, and now we have spotted their latest collaboration involving Product Classics.
For this creation, Fila and Japanese brand Product Classics used the infamous 70’s Fitness model. Seeing the colorway, its obvious both sides were inspired by high-end Gucci color scheme. The upper, consisting of suede and crocodile leather, is predominately black with red and green stripes surrounding the ankle area. This sneaker also adds the Fila logo on the tongue in gold. The insole also features both sides’ logos in gold. The Product Classics x Fila 70’s Fitness collaboration is limited to 300 pairs. Is this a good start for Fila’s comeback? Via Freshness.
