After Skepta gave a preview last month at Paris Fashion Week, PUMA announces the official release of the PUMA VELOPHASIS, a new hybrid sneaker inspired by the 2000s. The sneaker is offered in two iterations known as the “Bionic” and “Phased.”

PUMA dives into its archives as the VELOPHASIS is inspired by the COMPLETE line, a defining part of the Fastcat’s history during the Y2K era. This line allowed PUMA to develop revolutionary technologies and have in-turn given design elements to the VELOPHASIS.

The VELOPHASIS Bionic has a metallic finish with cream and electro blue accents. While the debut colorways of the VELOPHASIS Phased drop are inspired by the Vaporwave subculture and Internet trends of the early 2010s.

The PUMA VELOPHASIS Bionic releases on February 4th on for $150. The PUMA VELOPHASIS Phased drops on February 11 for $130. Both VELOPHASIS styles will be available on PUMA.com, the PUMA mobile app, and select retailers. For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
