PUMA CEO, Bjørn Gulden, is leaving the company after nearly a decade of work, according to multiple reports.
Gulde, who lead the global footwear and apparel company since 2013, will not renew his contract as it expires on December, 31, 2022.
“My current contract with Puma ends [Dec. 31] and after 9 years I have decided not to renew,” Gulden said in a statement via Footwear News. “I have had nine great years with the Puma family, and I am very proud of what we have achieved together.”
Gulde is reportedly joining adidas as the company’s CEO. In October, adidas’ current CEO, Kasper Rorsted, announced that he would be leaving the company in 2023.
Rorsted was adidas’ CEO since 2016.
