Creative Director for Puma Hoops, June Ambrose, stars in the Women’s High Court Collection campaign. This athletic lifestyle collection takes inspiration from Basketball themes and creates a line that is casually luxe. The High Court series is a new subdivision of the Puma Hoops Women’s category. Ambrose first joined Puma in 2020 and has played a pivotal role in launching Puma Hoops’ Women’s division. As Creative Director, Ambrose has redefined style and self expression in sports by designing looks for women to feel empowered in on-and-off the court. The collection includes four different footwear options including the Puma Leadcat Glory, Puma Legendary Suede, Puma Maverick Court Rider, and Puma Regal RS Renegade.
The High Court Collection centers itself around Ambrose’s personal philosophy — life is a sport, style is the game, and basketball is the vibe. With this in mind, Ambrose integrated athletic pieces and physical elements of the game to tell the story of women’s trials in the game of life. It was important to Ambrose to design pieces that remind people of the women that are owning their power, striving to do better, and consistently winning — even without recognition.
The Puma Leadcat Glory is an all-black slide with a fuzzy strap and printed midsole finished with a scribble design. The Puma Legendary Suede also has fuzzy elements with a hairy suede upper in all-over beige. The Puma Maverick Court Rider is most definitely a game-time need. The upper has an all-over print that features modern leopard spots in bright orange and gold. The Puma Regal RS Renegade reminds us of Basketball’s early days and takes us back to the silhouette that started it all. The upper has an all-white base with black accents on the ankle collar and Puma Sidestripe. These sneakers are perfect for lifestyle wear or even a quick 1-on-1, so no one will ever catch you slipping.
The Puma High Court campaign was shot by the legendary Hype Williams, who has been a long time collaborator with Ambrose. Visuals from the campaign feature Breanna Stewart, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Katie Lou Samuelson, and Jackie Young — all of which are Puma athletes. The WNBA stars are seen wearing pieces from the collection including a faux fur jacket, a rugby top, shorts, and more.
The Puma Hoops Women’s High Court Collection is available starting today, December 1st. You can purchase pieces from the entire collection via Puma.com and the Puma NYC Flagship store, as well as select Nordstrom locations.
