Following the debut release of the brands first basketball shoe in two decades, PUMA is currently riding high on the cultural success of its Clyde Court. Bubbling in both lifestyle culture and its intended sport, the German brand’s basketball relaunch has gone as well as anyone could have expected. But it’s only just beginning.

“The reaction to the Clyde Court Disrupt launch has been extremely encouraging, and we wanted to follow-up our launch with a unique story that reflects the spirit of the fall season,” said Allison Giorgio, Vice President of Brand and Marketing for PUMA North America. “We’ve had a lot of fun with the release of the Clyde Court X-Ray, and we can’t wait until our PUMA ambassadors show off their new-look sneakers on the hardwood.”

For the Clyde Court’s second installment PUMA leans heavily into the impending holiday. Representative of the earliest moments of the NBA season, Halloween has long signified the start of basketball. The PUMA Clyde Court “X-Ray” honors that occasion while playing on multiple themes – both an on-trend skeletal frame and PUMA Hoops signee, Terry Rozier, and his “Scary Terry” nickname.

The PUMA Clyde Court “X-Ray” is set to release a day before Halloween on October 30 at PUMA and Foot Locker locations. The shoe will also be available on Puma.com.
