2018 will mark the 50th anniversary of PUMA, which was created by Rudolf Dassler in Germany. And wanting to commemorate the anniversary as well as Dassler, PUMA will be unveiling the Suede Classic “Rudolf Dassler” on Saturday.
Staying true to the original silhouette, this iteration of the Suede Classic features a black plush suede upper and is finished by a cream-colored midsole and outsole. Besides for the typical PUMA branding, the company’s original D logo, which has a puma jumping through the letter “d,” is embroidered at the heel and featured prominently on the tongue. This of course, is a nod to Dassler and PUMA’s 50th anniversary.
Releasing on November 11th, the Puma Suede Classic “Rudolf Dassler” can be copped from Sneaker Politics for $75.
