PUMA has officially opened their doors at their North America headquarters at Assembly Row in Somerville, Massachusetts. The global sportswear brand previously had two separate offices located in Boston and Westford, Massachusetts. PUMA’s new Somerville location will be a culmination of their former buildings, bringing all 450 employees together under one roof.

The new headquarters offers 150,000 square feet of flexible office space. PUMA hopes to continue to grow their business while also using the work environment to help attract the best new talent. The new headquarters also offers a 19,000-square-foot roof deck that has a dining area and art installations. The facility provides PUMA employees access to an innovative gym, a kids center for children visiting the office, bike storage, and 2,300 square feet of balcony space. All of this on top of being within close proximity to Assembly Row’s extensive dining, shops, and health and wellness benefits.

President of PUMA North America, Bob Philion, speaks on the new headquarters space saying, “To support PUMA’s continued growth, fueled in large part by the North American market, we focused on creating a space that reflects our ‘Forever Faster’ mentality. We put creativity and innovation at the forefront, bringing together our entire North American team to collaborate and propel our brand forward. I’m thrilled to celebrate this exciting next chapter of PUMA’s history as one collective team and look forward to continued success for the company here in Somerville and around the globe.”

This move makes sense for PUMA being that the company has seen strong and consistent growth recently. Although PUMA is a global sportswear brand, they’ve seen a particular increase in demand from the North American and Latin American markets. In PUMA’s third quarter, the brand reported the strongest sales growth of 31.2%.

Moving forward, PUMA plans to focus on North American culture, sustainability, and re-entering basketball. We can already see PUMA’s plan in action as some of their most recent talent includes Tik Tok star Dixie D’Amelio and basketball players Mikey Williams, Breanna Stewart, and LaMelo Ball.
