Although the “Homage to Home” Air Jordan 1 was initially met with disdain from purists of the 1985 classic, its juxtaposition of “Chicago” and “Banned” colorways defied tradition in a way that the shoe hadn’t done before. Now, longtime Jordan Brand ambassador Quentin Richardson has revealed the shoe’s counterpart.
Taking on aesthetic details from the “Royal” OG and fragment design collaboration, Richardson’s PE pair is finished with MJ’s signature alongside a “B.O.G.” tag that references Board of Governors.
It’s unclear if this shoe will release in a retail version or if it’s something exclusive to Q and a few others. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more details.
