2. Mr.3,000

The number 3,000 to baseball players and baseball fans alike is a number that is synonymous with excellence. In fact, every player but one that has captured 3,000 hits in their respective careers have found eternal representation in Cooperstown, New York. On July 9th, 2011, Derek Jeter became only the 28th player in Major League history to earn 3,000 hits. The future Hall of Famer did so while rocking his signature Derek Jeter DJ 3k Cleats. The aforementioned name itself seemed to foreshadow his impending milestone. The Jordan Brand even produce a pair of DJ3k trainers in order to further commemorate the distinctive moment for the then 36 year-old shortstop.
