The Reebok Question has been highly visibly over the last few years. Allen Iverson’s first signature shoe with Reebok in undeniably classic, and a strong showing in any sneaker collection is certainly warranted. Yet, being that AI has the second longest running signature line next to Michael Jordan, it may be time for more retros of this storied line to see the light of day.
Fortunately, as we made mention to last year, the Reebok Answer III is set to retro in 2015. Originally released back in 1999, a year in which Iverson notched his first scoring title and All-NBA First Team selection, the Reebok Answer III was a highly scaled back shoe in terms of technology. Constructed in full-grain leather alongside DMX Lite cushioning and prominent I3 logo branding, the successfully streamlined performance shoe was also a hit aesthetically.
The Reebok Answer III is slated to first return in its OG Black/White and White/Red colorways, respectively. Though no release details have been announced, its rumored that Summer 2015 will play host to the return of this nostalgic hoops silhouette that helped usher in the turn of the century. Keep it locked for more details on the retro release of the Answer III.
