During Kobe Bryant’s sneaker free agency period corresponding with the 2003 NBA season, Bean laced up a plethora of stellar models from brands across the spectrum. He’d bought out his adidas contract for $8 million and, because of that, was restricted from signing with another brand for a year. During said timeframe, one of Kobe’s most noteworthy wears was a white and purple Reebok Answer IV.
That famed pair just released overseas. Japanese retailer atmos has the shoe up for sale in its original colorway and construction. Fitted in a predominately white tumbled leather upper with purple and grey accents, the shoe became famous as it wasn’t often seen aside from Bryant’s wear 15 years ago.
Fans can grab the Reebok Answer IV “Kobe PE” now for $190 at atmos.
