The Mardi Gras celebration takes place around this time of year in place like Rio de Janeiro and in New Orleans, though it has gone a long ways from it’s religious roots, and is now known for…well, let’s just say beads. The celebration has made it’s way onto a pair of kicks this year, thanks to Reebok.
The Reebok ERS 5000 II “Mardi Gras” comes with a jester filled insole, as well as a jester image on the tongue, which has become synonymous with Mardi Gras. The colorway is a mix of yellow, purple, green and gold put onto the ERS 5000 II running silhouette. The ERS 5000 is a retro from the early 90’s and at the time was the premier running sneaker in the Reebok line up. Available now at Solebox for 120 Euro. |
