To pay homage to Stanley Kubrick’s legendary movies, Reebok has designed these two Pump Omni Lites. A military theme is used for the “Full Metal Jacket” pair. Tan nubuck is used for the majority of the upper, while white perforated leather appears on the toe box. Around the collar, camouflage print appears, including a peace sign–another nod to the movie. The second shoe draws inspiration from “2001: A Space Odyssey.” Black patent leather gives a futuristic look, and gets help from the special perforated leather on the toe box. Around the collar, the red material is meant to look like a computer chip. The included keychain displays a red dot as an allusion to HAL, the computer system from the movie. |
