Reebok considers what could have been a part of the “What If?” pack when exploring the possibility of Allen Iverson playing football at Georgetown University with the Reebok Question “Gridiron”.

Allen Iverson was a decorated multi-sport athlete while playing at Bethel High School in nearby Hampton, Virginia, and was part of state title teams both on the hardwood and the gridiron. The athletic AI played a variety of positions on offense including quarterback and wideout.

While AI was a highly recruited talent by elite college hoops programs, he was also scouted for his football talents too. Rumor has it that when Iverson arrived to Georgetown the 6-0 guard asked legendary coach John Thompson about playing for the Georgetown Hoyas Gridiron team but thinking about the future Hall of Famer’s best interest and potential, he thankfully steered him away from this move.
