This year is a new and important chapter for Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan series starts a new chapter in its legacy with the launch of the Air Jordan 2009, but history is told through new performance product introduced. The Jordan True Flight, designed by Justin Taylor, draws inspiration from the classic Air Jordan 7, but has the technological upgrades to perform to 2009 standards.
Much has changed in 17 years in design for footwear. The Jordan True Flight features a flatter outsole with a greater surface area for ultimate traction with herringbone traction. Replacing standard encapsulated Air units, the True Flight has the most responsive cushioning created with Zoom Air in the forefoot and heel. Lastly, the shoe features greater stability than the Jordan 7 with several design modifications. The Jordan True Flight takes off tomorrow at Jordan retailers for $140 in three colors.
