What was already looking to be a stacked weekend in terms of Nike releases got even more loaded thanks to a couple of unexpected surprises over the week. Sights were already set on a new colorway of the Nike LeBron 11 as well as the KD VI, but the announcement of a highly anticipated collaboration between Sole Collector and Nike stirred the pot even more. Another collaboration was also revealed this week between CNCPTS and Nike SB, this one featuring an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” theme. As if that wasn’t enough, Nike unveiled the Kobe Prelude Pack, consisting of each of Kobe’s signature models preceding the newly unveiled Kobe 9 Elite, with the first sneaker in the series dropping this weekend. While the Swoosh definitely dominates this weekend’s slew of releases, Jordan Brand has a few drops lined up for themselves, and we also see a couple of winter-friendly collaborations making their way to retailers. So, check out the best of the best sneaker releases of the weekend, and let us know what you plan on copping in this week’s Release Rundown.
