Rhude’s Rhuigi Villaseñor has been teasing his awaited Vans Vault project over the past couple months and now early visuals of the two color collection have finally surfaced.
Sourcing design inspiration from classic Vans styles, like the Sk8-Hi in the brand’s inline collection, Rhude is also incorporating signature details that put his brand on the map in 2012. Each shoe is constructed with a paisley bandana print that mirrors the entity’s first t-shirt – the one that Kendrick Lamar wore at the BET Awards.
Rhuigi has already been wearing the Vans Bold Ni as an accent to his California inspired wardrobe – which is included in the collaboration with the addition of Diamo Ni offering.
While the Bold Ni stays more neutral with a black and white paisley pattern and Rhude branding on the laces, the Diamo Ni implements multi-colored paisley paneling with a collapsible heel that’s an ode to the more casual way people wear their Vans.
The Rhude x Vans Vault Diamo Ni and Bold Ni don’t have an official release date yet, but for now, see the ins and outs of Rhugi’s personal style.
