Since 2011, ASICS has played a major part in the development and success of Ronnie Fieg‘s imprint Kith. Fieg’s relationship with ASICS has spanned nearly two decades and has officially hit triple digits as the 99th and 100th pairs get ready to release in conjunction with Kith’s new locations in Miami and Beverly Hills.
As Kith gets ready to open its doors on Rodeo Drive and Miami’s Design District, Fieg recalls the ASICS “Super Series” that started in 2009 with the ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Super Blue.” This time, Fieg remasters the ASICS GEL-LYTE III in “Super Yellow” and “Super Orange.”
Both iterations are inspired by the architecture surrounding the new flagships. The “Super Yellow” version embodies Miami’s vibrant Art Deco, while the “Super Orange” edition looks to Beverly Hills’ cobbled roads and terracotta storefronts. The ASICS GEL-LYTE III silhouette has an updated build with remastered details to complement the contemporary style.
The Ronnie Fieg for ASICS GEL-LYTE III Remastered “Super Orange” will commemorate the opening of Kith’s Beverly Hills flagship on February 3, 2023. It will release exclusively at the new flagship location before it launches globally on February 6th in Kith Tokyo, as well as Kith.com and EU.Kith.com.
