Ronnie Fieg is a prominent figure in sneaker culture, and not solely because he knows how to match the colors up and source premium materials. Primarily, Fieg’s rise is due to creativity and innovation regarding both footwear and apparel. His latest revelation sees him team up with Uber for the release of the Ronnie Fieg x Diadora RF7000.
Utilizing the company’s delivery service known as UberRUSH, Fieg released the shoe today in intuitive fashion, allowing customers in Manhattan to use UberRUSH to have the shoe delivered within a two-hour time span. This, of course, limits who could purchase the shoe, but it is a revolutionary method to do so nonetheless. Moreover, it could spark similar delivery options across the globe, one that could be combat bots and streamline hyped releases that in very few cases lead to violence.
The Ronnie Fieg x Diadora RF7000 is currently sold out, as only a limited run was made available for this special release. A wider release is said to follow at a later time.
