The Asics Gel Lyte GT-II “Aqua” looked like it would be impossible to top. Then Ronnie Fieg unveiled the “Salmon Toe” and we thought the same thing. Will this Gel Lyte III “Aqua-Blue” be the next to outshine its predecessor?
Though we only have this limited look, we can tell that premium navy blue nubuck covers the majority of the upper, including the toe, midfoot and a healthy portion of the quarter panels. Matching mesh can be found in the toe box and making up the signature split tongue. A white midsole gets help from the arch design surround and laces, contrasting the dark build of the near-monochromatic upper. Stay tuned for more information and looks at this pair of Asics.
