Purposely lacking color, the Ronnie Fieg x PUMA XT-2 “Achromatic” for Dover Street Market is a daring design in today’s loud market. Fieg first revealed his latest creation in an “Achromatic” unveiling via Style.com, where he previewed and discussed both a black and a white style code of the simplistic silhouette. Admitting that it is risky to take color out of the equation, the prominent designer wanted to focus on nothing but the quality of the shoe. Sneaker Freaker’s issue 30 now gives us another angle of the black half, which features Italian glove leather uppers with a supple calfskin lining and quilted detailing on top of a white midsole.
