Ronnie Fieg’s latest collaborative project takes on the PUMA XT-2, and the notable designer is taking a minimalistic approach to the classic silhouette. Both pairs of the Ronnie Fieg x PUMA XT-2 for Dover Street Market were created to let the materials do the talking, not the colorway. These achromatic makeups are set in straight black and white, keeping the focus on each shoe’s top-shelf materials, which include Italian glove leather on the uppers, a supple calfskin lining and quilted detailing. According to the creator, this collaboration features “the most luxurious upper ever constructed on a trainer.” Grab either the all-white or black and white style code when both release on July 26th at DSM Ginza.
