Borrowing the iconic, bold pattern from the London transportation system’s seat upholstery, this latest Nike Air Max collaboration is set to surface. The Roundel by London Underground x Nike Air Max Collection features two of the most iconic AM models, covered in the same material of the railway’s cars from the 1980s. Both the Nike Air Max 1 “Jacquard” and Nike Air Max 90 “Jacquard” are wrapped in a one-piece abstract fabric, which was reproduced through a sophisticated weaving process using woven polyester. Red, brown, black and tan combine to color each silhouette, both of which sit on pure white midsoles and gum bottoms. Tell us what you think of this London-inspired Nike Air Max Collection in the comment section below, and jump aboard a pair when they debut in custom moquette pattern packaging on December 14th at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
