The new NBA Live ’16 cover was recently unveiled, and to no surprise, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is its cover star. EA Sports selected Westbrook due to his incredible talent and tenacity to play each game as if it were his last.
On said cover, Russell dons an Air Jordan XX9 PE. Having worn this particular pair several times throughout his triple-double infused 2014-15 campaign, the imposing Black/Blue-Orange colorway blends perfectly with Westbrook’s Thunder road uniform, which he also wears for his cover shoot.
