Russell Debuts the Air Jordan XX8

Initially, the Air Jordan XX8 received the most polarizing criticism of any performance basketball sneaker we’ve seen in quite some time. Some fans loved it and some fans hated it. It was announced that Westbrook would be the “face” of the Air Jordan XX8, and it turned out to be a great fit. Debuting the sneaker three months prior to the AJXX8’s release, Westbrook recorded 25 points, nine assists, and three steals in a victory over Deron Williams and the Brooklyn Nets.
