In addition to the Chuck Taylor, Jack Purcell and the One Star, Converse has also worked with sak by Japanese designer Ryusaka Hiruma on the Star Tech. These shoes are hand-stitched from upper and rand to insole and are comprised of premium vintage materials such as supple leathers. Each pair also incorporates hand-stitched leather rands/toe bumpers and the hand-cut star cutouts seen at the ends the shoes? leather laces. Only 64 pairs were constructed, and they will retail for $600 each on November 15th, 2010, at select retailers shown below. Sizes include 7-11.
