NBA fans know the San Antonio Spurs for their team-oriented style of play and winning ways. Those in the Central Texas area also know both the team and the origination’s affinity for giving back. The latter hit home as the Spurs were away for the annual Rodeo Road Trip as the organization gave back to kids in the area for their annual Rodeo Read Trip initiative.
Enlisting the help of customizer and tattoo artist T2Slim with support from Inkorperated Kustoms, the Spurs encouraged local students to read by rewarding eight area schools with their own custom kicks.
Using the Jordan Super.Fly 4 as a canvas, a model also championed by Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge on court, check out the San Antonio-inspired custom kicks below and props to the San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Independent School District, Eastside Promise Neighborhood and all the other partners that helped donate over 14,000 books to San Antonio youth.
