Fast Lane annually honors the 100 Most Creative People in Business. This year one of the footwear industry leaders, Nike, had a member near the top of the list. Sandy Bodecker is the VP of Global Design for Nike. His path to the position has led him through many places along the way. As far as sneakerheads are concerned, his time at Nike Skateboarding may have been most significant. Not only did he push the trend of looking outside the norm for inspiration, he designed his own Bo Rod P-Rod Highs. His creative mind was behind the suspension bridge inspired Flywire technology seen throughout many of the silhouettes on the market today. Congrats to Sandy Bodecker for the honor, and we look forward to more innovations in the future. |
