Scarr’s Pizza in New York City collaborated with Nike for a Friends and Family Air Force 1 in 2019 that was limited to 48 pairs and a size 11.5 sold on Sotheby’s for over $120K. The AF1 was designed by Scarr’s founder Scarr Pimental, team member Audie Villot, and DJ Clark Kent and uses a white base with Scarr’s signature blue and orange throughout with their logo on the lateral heel, their address of 22 Orchard on the tongue tag and “We Got This” and “Word Is Bond” stitched into the liner near the heel.
The sneaker was put up on auction by sneaker reseller @pgknows and according to him, this is a world record for the most expensive Nike Air Force 1 sold. Check out the auction photos from Sotheby’s let us know your thoughts on if this sneaker is worth $120,000.
