Making it into the shoe industry is not easy. Big brands see hundreds of applications hit their info box each day with only so many jobs to go around. So, how do you get your foot in the door? Well, one way (also the hardest way) is to do it yourself.
Enter Scottish shoe designer Austin Yule. At only 22 years of age, he’s started the first sneaker company in his homeland with next month’s release of the Arc Originals Outset Vol. 1. Very inspired by retro running, this moss green pair is limited to 100 pairs and shot in Scotland — the place it was birthed in and inspired by.
