Back in April we got our first look at SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog-themed collaboration with PUMA and now a month later, we finally have release details for the video game inspired kicks.

PUMA’s collaboration with SEGA is a two sneaker pack of the RS-0 silhouette with one style called the RS-0 “Sonic” and the other RS-0 “Dr. Eggman.”

The SEGA x PUMA RS-0 “Sonic” is all about the speedy hedgehog and the iconic Green Hill Zone that he protects. The upper features a textured blue suede, which resembles Sonic’s fur. The outsole’s red coloring is reminiscent of Sonic’s similarly colored shoes. Also related to Sonic are the metallic gold rings on the lace ends, 16-bit grass print on the heel and checkered print on the midsole and insole. A translucent red rubber outsole, which has a visible Sonic logo on it, completes the look.

The SEGA x PUMA RS-0 “Dr. Eggman” is inspired by the Sonic villain’s flamboyant outfit. The upper features a pebbled patent leather and a debossed Dr. Eggman head. Eggman’s face and fireballs can be found on the medial heel. Similar to the Sonic-themed RS-0, gold rings are on the lace ends and a translucent blue rubber outsole with the Sonic logo completes the look.

The SEGA x PUMA collaboration will release on PUMA.com and select PUMA retailers on June 12th in the US and June 5th in Europe.
