UK retailer size? again joins with Japanese brand ASICS for a modern-day iteration of the Gel-Lyte. This one takes inspiration from acclaimed painter Katsushika Hokusai and his time-honored Mount Fuji art series.
With an overarching theme squarely centered in Japan and its many technological advancements, the fittingly titled “36 Views” Gel-Lyte denotes a water-resistant suede upper alongside a ripstop toebox and branded tongue and heel tabs. Hokusai’s paintings, many of which in the aforementioned series are water-based, reflect in the water-resistant coating while the region’s adoring cherry blossoms are referenced at the pink toe.
