In attempt to increase its relevancy, Skechers has called upon the efforts of two NBA Hall of Famers to help promote their latest ad campaign. In detail, former NBA superstars Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar will be appearing in both on-screen and print ads for Shape-ups ?Comeback? campaign, which continues through 2011.

“We’re so proud to see Shape-ups embraced by the greatest sports icons and the incredible reactions that so many consumers are having to our product,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “To have not one but two basketball legends endorsing Shape-ups is a tremendous honor, and we believe a terrific way to expose more sports fans, fitness-minded consumers and new customers to the benefits of Shape-ups.”

As of now, Skechers current ?Comeback? campaign ads features NFL Hall of Fame member Joe Montana.

What are your thoughts on these Hall of Famers aiding Skechers in their upcoming advertisement campaigns?
