Smiley Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary with a Reebok Classic Leather Pump

In honor of the world’s happiest icon, Smiley partners with Reebok to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The partnership includes a multi-season lineup of exclusive drops that promote positive change and kindness. The Smiley x Reebok Classic Leather Pump “50th” combines the Reebok Classic Leather with Reebok’s legendary PUMP technology to create a sneaker that brings to life the vibrant ethos of the Smiley icon.

To make this silhouette even more worthwhile, Smiley invited renowned graffiti artist Mr. André to create the graffiti print that is seen on the upper of this Reebok Classic Leather Pump. The design was printed on top of premium leather and has a wear-away element to it, as the graffiti design is covered with white peel-off paint. Because of this, the sneaker has a simple appearance at first, looking as though it’s a typical Classic Leather with SMILEY accents and a branded PUMP component with a spray-painted logo on the tongue. Over time, the white paint will crack and peel off to reveal Mr. André’s vibrant graffiti print that celebrates Smiley’s 50th Anniversary and honors the inner happiness that is always waiting to come through.
