| If you recall, the New Balance 850 was included in our 9 Sneakers We?re Looking Forward to in ?09. Many people were more than delighted to see this silhouette finally release in the U.S. Now, taking it back overseas, Australia-based publication Sneaker Freaker has joined efforts with New Balance to design this specially-made 850 style.
Not much can be said about this sneaker yet seeing that this is only a preview of what is to come; however, we can share a couple of details now. First off, both sides applied an Australian feel to this shoe by applying genuine kangaroo leather to the base. The color makeup seems to incorporate yellow, black and dark tan. Other features include the Sneaker Freaker logo on the insoles, a green/yellow New Balance logo on the tongue and a white sole. What are your preliminary thoughts on this collaboration? |
