Sneaker Freaker is the latest publication to land an Asics collaboration, and they chose the cover of an upcoming issue to debut it. To go above and beyond for the preview, Issue 18’s cover is in 3D!
The shoe itself is set to drop later this year, with the only intended purpose for the shoe being partying. Durasheen appears in large amounts, with the split-tongue using purple and the toe box black. Black nubuck wraps around the toe and the heel, while grey suede appears at the top of the midfoot. As the nickname for this sneaker would suggest, purple is used in spades, appearing on the midfoot, quarter panels and liner. Finally, two-tone laces finish off these Gel Lyte IIIs.
