The Bodega x Converse Pro Leather “Ride or Die may have flown under the radar, but the detailing and story behind the limited sneakers shouldn’t be ignored. The vastly different shoes make more sense when you understand that they are influenced by the “Mod” and “Rocker” subcultures of the 1950s and 1960s in the UK. The biker crews were on opposite ends of the spectrum. The “Mods” were known for high fashion, rhythmic music preference, and riding motor scooters. On the other hand, “Rockers” were more of what you may think of when you think of bikers. They were built on rock and roll music and rode early motorcycles (known as cafe racers).
