If you’re hoping to score the Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” before its official release next month, you might want to make plans to get to New Orleans as soon as possible.
Tomorrow, Louisiana-based retailer Sneaker Politics and Jordan Brand are shutting down St. Chartres Street to celebrate the release of the shoe ahead of its official May 12 drop date. A block party will take place from 11am to 1pm CST and feature live performances from Juvenile, Bun B, Nell, Neno Calvin and others. Pairs will be available for purchase during that time as well.
Following the early release tomorrow, Politics will drop the shoe again on April 29 at 12pm online and at their Lafayette and Baton Rouge locations. So, if you can’t make it to New Orleans you’ll have a shot to cop online on April 29. The shoe will be available in men sizes 8-14 ($190) and aBG sizes 4Y-7Y for ($140).
