Sneaker Politics and Saucony have come together to create a one of a kind delicacy for a staple shop in the city of New Orleans.
The collaborative shoe is an ode to Cafe Du Monde which has been operating for 157 years.
The Saucony Shadow 5000 comes in two different colorways which embody the rich French heritage and culture that was the foundation of the vibrant city. In doing so, the silhouettes are inspired by the French pastry — beignets — topped off with a mountain of powdered sugar.
Each colorway is limited to 157 pairs each and could only be bought through Sneaker Politics’s New Orleans store on June 22, 2019 at 11am CST.
Take a look at the recently released collab below from our Rob Mata. Bon appétit my fellow sneakerheads.
